Online Courses

Web-based training, also known as online learning or eLearning, allows you to get training on a subject at your convenience and at a cost-effective price. The benefits of this type of training include: reduced travel costs and easy access. Additionally, it allows you to stay current on topics that are important to you. That's why we specialize in online training and will continue to expand our list of courses.

Our courses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can register for a course below by clicking on the Buy Now button. You can begin the course after your credit card charge is processed and a User ID is established. Catastrophe Adjusting Refresher
This online class is for individuals who are somewhat more experienced or prefer to work through the many course topics on their own time and at their own pace. The topics will cover all the information an adjuster needs to know about adjusting catastrophes. This course is broken up into two key sections: "Getting Prepared for Adjusting" and "The Actual Adjusting Process". The first section includes a number of modules that can be done in preparation for any catastrophe. The second part takes you through an actual case study to show students the process of adjusting residential properties. Many additional topics will be available as part of this online training, including the courses: Homeowners Policy Interpretation, Tools of the Trade, Working with Digital Photos, and Claim File Components:

Claim File Components

This course gives the user a complete overview of what documents and information are should be part of the claim file. It will give students an understanding of the responsibility of the adjuster in building the claim file and the order in which the file is creating.

Effective Writing for Claims Professionals

This communication workshop is a 4-part series offered via a Webinar by our training partner. The course helps improve the organization, wording, persuasiveness, tone, and format of documents written by claims (property/casualty, life/health, workers' compensation), underwriting, and loss control professionals. This online class helps build participants' skills and confidence by reviewing actual insurance documents, participating in exercises, and exploring topics such as getting started, organizing information, and polishing tone and persuasiveness. All participants are given access to our Writing Hotline for 30 days following the course.

Homeowners Policy InterpretationContinuing Education credits

This web-based course will teach you how to analyze the homeowners policy. You will learn a quick multi-step process of walking through the policy, so that you can figure what is covered when processing any type of property claim. You will gain an understanding of property types, coverages, exclusions, limitations, and more..

This is an intermediate level course where adjusters will receive 2 credit hours for CE Adjuster Optional credits in Florida and reciprocal states. To receive this credit you are required to pass the final exam at the end of the course with a score of 70% or higher.

Introduction to Catastrophe Claims Adjusting

This web-based course is designed to give individuals an inside look at the life of a catastrophe adjuster. It will walk you through the detailed steps necessary to do the job of a claims adjuster in the event of a catastrophe.

Residential Construction Basics

This web-based course concentrates on giving you the most important information you need about residential construction and applying that knowledge to the property claims adjusting process. Construction techniques, materials used and building terminology are all discussed. A series of interactive ‘knowledge check’ scenarios help reinforce the training.

Tools of the Trade

This is a web-based course which details two categories of adjuster tools: traditional tools and electronic equipment. These tools will allow adjusters to have a more efficient process while in the field. Adjusters will learn the terminology and the best set of equipment and supplies available in the current market. With this information field adjusters will be able to increase the speed of scoping, inspecting, and estimating; and produce more accurate and timely estimates in the process.

This course will give students a thorough understanding of adjusting water losses. In this web-based course you will learn how to apply the basics of scoping and estimating to large and complex water losses. You will gain an understanding of processing water loss claims including investigation, settlement of coverages, and recovery. Working with Digital Photos

This is a web-based course which introduces you to the world of digital photography. As you may know using a digital camera during property claims adjusting is a critical part of the job. Therefore, this short course will give you the information you need to set up and use your digital camera for claims adjusting, in addition to understanding some digital photography concepts, uploading the photos to your pc and preparing them for estimating.
