Property insurance has a long history - - possibly dating back to the Babylonians. In the United States, Ben Franklin formed one of the earliest property insurance companies in 1752 in Philadelphia. And, while the records are less clear, it is a good bet that some form of adjusting practice followed close behind.
Since the insurance industry and adjusting continue to evolve, training becomes more and more critical. Technology changes, the insurance contract becomes more complex, and the issues facing the adjuster become more challenging. The courses offered through this site focus on property and casualty adjusting. Best practices, new technologies, and both basic and advanced training are all offered. The large majority of our offerings are centered around online training - - otherwise known as web-based training. However, we do offer customized classroom training for organizations, at your site, on a request-by-request basis. We can also develop custom courses to meet your needs designed for either online or classroom formats.
